Welcome to Singapore's most relaxed photography community! Our photowalks double as a social outlet—ideal if you're an expat settling in or a local keen to expand your circle. Most of our regulars hover around an average age of 30, but everyone with a friendly vibe and curiosity for the city is welcome. Along the way we mix creative shooting prompts, city exploration, and friendly competition so you can improve your craft and meet fellow photographers.
What We Do on Each Singapore Photowalk
Every two weeks, we organise photowalks around different locations in Singapore. From the bustling streets of Chinatown to the serene paths of MacRitchie Reservoir, we explore it all through our lenses while capturing the best of Singapore photography.
How Our Singapore Walking Group Works
Meet us at rotating MRT-adjacent locations, shoot together while we share tips, then gather nearby to review our favourite shots. Everyone votes for their highlights, and we celebrate the winners over drinks and good conversation.
It's a relaxed evening where expats discovering Singapore and locals who already know the kopi stalls swap stories, share photo inspiration, and often linger for the informal social after the walk. Frequently Asked Questions
- Who can join a Shots n Shots Singapore photowalk?
- Anyone with an interest in photography or discovering Singapore on foot. Smart phones, film, digital, and instant cameras all fit right in.
- How do I reserve a spot?
- RSVP on Eventbrite or DM @shotsnshots.sg. We try to keep a max number of attendees to keep things manageable, but we'll likely be able to slot you in regardless.
- Is there a fee to join?
- Attendance is free. If you choose to join us for a social drink (strongly strongly encouraged!) then you must pay for your own! If you're lucky enough to win the photo contest, you'll find your social drink is on us!
- Can I come alone?
- Absolutely. Most first-timers arrive solo and leave with a new WhatsApp chat full of photography pals and future walking buddies.
- Will there be someone there to teach me?
- We run as a photowalk, not a formal class. Some of the attendees may be able to give you tips and help you out, but we can't guarantee anything. The best way to learn is to come along, shoot, and ask questions!

SHOTS N SHOTS is organized by Tim and JC. We are friends who are passionate about walking (Tim) and photography (JC). We've lived in Singapore for a few years and wanted to find a way to explore more of the city while meeting new people.
